Scirocco x Sarah

My absolute favorite ship... perhaps of all time?
Well, before them, I didn't really have anything that I shipped 'strongly'...
But, somehow, I ended up making dozens upon dozens of pictures of the two of them.
I love them.

Scirocco is 'the man from Jupiter'-scheming, conniving, and charismatic, he easily worms his way into the hearts of others.
Sarah, meanwhile, is a young Newtype orphan enlisted in the Titans. Both of their pasts remain largely a mystery to the viewers.
(I find it interesting that Scirocco was described as a "man born of science" in Tomino's draft for Zeta... perhaps he never had real parents?)

Describing the appeal of their relationship... for me, it's the mixture of sweetness and poison.
If it would earn her Scirocco's affection, Sarah would do anything. To her, it'd be fine to die--for that man and his beautiful ideals.
Scirocco, of course, takes advantage of this fact... at the same time, he holds a genuine affection toward the young girl.
I enjoy drawing both the darker aspects of their relationship and the parts with genuine warmth in them.
